Message from Mrs. behnke
March 23, 2020
Together we – parents, students and teachers have survived the first week of the pandemic. We are so grateful for your involvement in your child’s education. This really is unlike any other situation we have encountered before and know many of you are working from home, trying to keep students focused on learning and remaining calm during this time. We totally trust and believe you are doing your best and we are very thankful.
Amy and I will not be in school until further notice per Governor Ever’s latest mandate. Our teachers will be in contact with you regarding new lessons and or returning completed assignments. Distribution of materials will need to be done through email. Please make sure your child’s name is on his/her papers.
Our middle school teachers are in the beginning stages of using Google Classroom to
communicate with our students, collect completed assignments and to distribute new lessons. Educator reviews have been positive. We are also in the process of trying out “Zoom Meeting.” This will enable us to talk to our students on line. Both of these programs will be beneficial after the quarantine.
Thank you for the questions, comments and suggestions you have shared with us thus far –they have been very helpful. Though we are not in school, we plan to continue to communicate with you through emails, phone calls and newsletters.
You are in our prayers along with those who have died, those who have the virus and those who are caregivers,
